Girls Mark Zero Tolerance to FGM Through Empowering Activities
Girls from Partners for Girls Africa Foundation, in collaboration with
Victoria Leadership and Technology Training College, marked the
International Day of Zero Tolerance for Female Genital Mutilation (FGM)
through engaging and fun activities.
The celebration featured team-building exercises, modelling, traditional
and modern dances, and bubble gum competitions, promoting confidence,
creativity, teamwork, and unity. The winning team earned an opportunity
to participate in the upcoming International Day of the Girl Child
celebrations.
The event reaffirmed the institutions’ commitment to protecting girls’
rights, ending harmful practices, and nurturing confident, healthy, and
empowered young women.
