Partners for Girls Africa Foundation Partners with Grow Against Poverty

Partners for Girls Africa Foundation is proud to announce a new
partnership with Grow Against Poverty Kenya (GAP-Kenya), founded and led
by Ms. Hellen Mukanda. The partnership promotes education, climate
action, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH), peace building, and good
governance.

GAP-Kenya has supported children and communities through the donation of
150 bicycles to ease school commutes, sanitary towels to promote
menstrual hygiene and school attendance, and farm inputs to strengthen
agricultural productivity and food security.

During the event, our CEO, Arden Makale, awarded scholarships to the
winning boys and girls in separate school cycling competitions,
supporting access to education and celebrating young talent.

The event was graced by the Busia County Commissioner as Chief Guest,
alongside Dr. Phaustine Barasa, who emphasized the importance of
education and continued empowerment of the girl child.

Through this collaboration, we remain committed to expanding
opportunities for children and building healthier, more inclusive, and
empowered communities.
